Awaves

We're in Sanzhi, with mountains behind us and the sea in front. Walking toward the mountains, the goal isn't reaching the summit but looking out toward the ocean. Between the layers of waves there is more than endless surf — there's plenty of sand and grit mixed in.

Nothing is absolute; a complete life means accepting both the smooth times and the rough. Looking back on the past and out to where the waves end, we find our way back to ourselves.
